Cabernet Sauvignon
Offering terrific fruit
purity with lovely complexity, the inviting bouquet shows cassis,
spiced cherry, subtle tobacco, anise and cedar characters. It’s
equally satisfying on the palate, delivering excellent weight and
fruit intensity together with fine texture and chalky tannins,
making it sturdy and structured, while remaining smooth and
lingering. At its best: now to 2030.
5 Stars .
Outstanding quality showing varietal purity and exemplifying
regional type. Ruby red 50% of the wine aged in French oak
Barriques for 14 months and 50 % in tank on French oak staves
"A
tobacco leaf note kicks off proceedings, with a swab of black olive
and bay leaf-doused tannins framing a cuddly core of cassis and
plum. An honest wine stamped with regional DNA. A bit thin across
the midriff."
